The Ponce de Leon Apartment Hotel was built in 1925 by Architect Edgar C. Farris and Builder Dewey L. Kelley. The brick structure was designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival Style, whereas the Front Porch as well as the Penthouse type structure were made with Spanish Tile and Stucco.

The Penthouse was originally five separate units, with the 7th floor being two Studios and two One Bedroom Units, and the 8th floor was another One Bedroom Unit. At some point in time, these units were all combined into one space which is now known as the Penthouse.

The Ponce de Leon is currently being renovated to convert the original Apartment Hotel Building into Condominium Units. Many of these one & two bedrooms units are now available for sale, and more to follow in the next few month's.
