Application Process & Policy

Thank you for your interest in renting/leasing from Horizon Property Management, LLC. In order to process your application we require the following:

  • Applications must be filled out in FULL and signed by each applicant.

  • All persons over the age of 18 that will be living in the property will be screened. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • There is a $50.00 application fee for each applicant which must be paid before we will process the application. The application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Reliable documentation and telephone numbers for all income sources must be provided. Employment will be verified on all applicants. If self-employed, you will need to supply the last 2 years income tax returns as verification.

  • You must disclose all pets and vehicles of any nature (e.g. boats, recreational vehicles, etc.). No unlicensed or inoperable vehicles permitted at any time.

  • Qualifying is based on income, credit history, and rental history or ownership.

  • Applicants must earn a minimum of three (3) times the rent.

  • Once applications are approved by the property owner, the lease agreement must be signed and the security deposit made within THREE business days. The property will remain on the market until we have a signed lease agreement and the security deposit has been made. If not signed within the THREE business days, Horizon Property Management has the obligation to the owner to process the next application.

  • RENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO MOVING IN.

  • Pets are allowed in some of our properties, but must be approved by Horizon Property Management and/or the property owner. If your pet is allowed, there will be a pet deposit, or pet fee, for each pet even if they are an "outside" pet.
